It has been a very strange weather year here in DC. We had more snow on one day in March, than the rest of the winter combined (4-inches in one day.) It has been unseasonably cold through April. A couple of weeks ago we had two days in the low 80's, then back near freezing.
I am looking forward to sunny warm, spring days, the kind that bring out the big bunnies.
How is the weather in your area this spring?
like yours. still awaiting many spring flowers. spouse will try to mow the lawn tomorrow (first time this season).
ReplyDeleteA perfect beach day. But wait, the wind just started gusting. Okay. It stopped. Beautiful. Inconsistent.
ReplyDeleteTypically British. Last weekend it was in the high 20s - this morning it’s 9.

We've had mid 60s to low 80s with some rain tossed in for good measure. It's enough to give a person the bends. The grass in the back yard has grown so tall (days after mowing by the way) that my Maltese, little Cujo, can hide as he stalks squirrels. It also serves as protection from occasional hawks that might mistake him for a bunny.
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not shocked you have a small dog named Cujo???
DeleteWell, Maddie, he was born needing an attitude adjustment that never took. Besides, "Buster" was taken, tho Cujo would've been Buster Move!
DeleteWell, it's not warm enough to streak naked though the fields yet if that's what you were wondering......
ReplyDeleteYou're good with a camera, sweetie, so when this happens I want lots of pictures!
DeleteThis week we got to 100F - April. It was rather tedious but at least it is killing off the pollen.
