1. No problem.
ReplyDelete2. Why?
3. Right out the back gate is a little pond. Full of 'em every year.
4. Yes, in high school, freshman year.
5. Nope.
And 6 (which you forgot). Yes, I have eaten frog legs. ;)
6 is tasty
Delete1. I have no problem whatsoever with holding frogs.
ReplyDelete2. No. I have small dogs and a leery husband. I personally like snakes and my youngest sister always had them as an adult.
3. I don't know. I hear we have a crick nearby, so I'll have to check it out.
4. I don't remember frogs. I remember dissecting some weird, black and red, very large grasshopper thingy, and a fish.
5. Turn into a prince? Only if you spot any wearing purple clothes with ruffly shirts. Check the upper lip for a teeny tiny mustache. On the other hand, my father always said BH reminded him of Kermit the Frog and he's my prince, so...
We had a crick on the farm, now I get them in my neck
DeleteI grew up near a couple of cemeteries, and there were ponds. We'd go and on occasion grab an itty-bitty frog or two. I stopped doing that when the teenage neighbor girl decided to cut one open while still alive (the frog, not the girl) to play doctor. I cried for days. Why she was trying to traumatize an eight-year-old, who knows? I can't and won't harm a frog to this very day. Now spiders on the other hand....
Delete1. I would not mind holding a frog.
ReplyDelete2. I don't like snakes.
3. About 500 metres away.
4. No. There were scalpels for dissection but we never cut up a critter.
5. The prince, in frog form or any other form never came, so I settled for a nice person.
Hopefully you did't kiss a lot of frogs to find a nice person
DeleteI can hear Mistress Maddie’s screams from here.
ReplyDelete1: How do you feel about holding a frog in your hand? No problem.
2: Would you keep a snake as a pet? Never.
3: How near to your house is a place frogs can live a happy froggy life? The do so just a few minutes away.
4: Did you dissect frogs in school? Yes. 9th-grade Bio. One frog was still alive. The teacher kept insisting it wasn’t until it pulled so hard the pins let loose and it hopped through the classroom.
5: Do you think either of these would turn into a prince? Nope.

DeleteHow do you feel about holding a frog in your hand? WHATTTTTTTTTT! Are you people trying to make me go Anna Nuclear today?!?!?!?!

How near to your house is a place frogs can live a happy froggy life? Right at the property line. I have even seen them at the doorstep already, and Ill go out the other door.
Did you dissect frogs in school? Yes we had no choice
Do you think either of these would turn into a prince? Im not about to find out.
Sorry, melt down if you need to, it is okay. Would it be the strangest thing you lips have touched?
DeleteHee hee! I await Maddie’s answer to THAT question. You and I probably shouldn’t have hit The Mistress with Crocs and frogs on the same day.
DeleteIm now waiting to hear from someone else they love Trump and shop amazon and I'll be done for the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteAnd yes, yes it would be the strangest thing upon my lips...Id rather kiss a bird, than a frog.
I hate Trump and Amazon. And I love chic designers with quick wits and a propensity for drag.
Delete1: How do you feel about holding a frog in your hand? Not good.
ReplyDelete2: Would you keep a snake as a pet? No, never.

Frogs in the desert
Delete1: How do you feel about holding a frog in your hand? As a kid we did that a lot, but now? Not so much.
ReplyDelete2: Would you keep a snake as a pet? I have, but again, probably not now.

4: Did you dissect frogs in school? I did not. I opted out.
5: Do you think either of these would turn into a prince? I'm not looking.
You found your prince
Delete1. It's been decades. I think it's all fine.
ReplyDelete2. Noooooooo.
3. We have a brook about 1/4 mile from the house. I'm sure they thrive there.
4. We did. I let my lab partner do most of the work, mostly because I'm an oaf and indelicate.
5. My lab partner had a better chance than the frog.
I wonder if I would have made a good surgeon
Delete1. Yes, I would hold a frog.

How fun
DeleteFrog in the hand - Mostly worry about hurting them. Very delicate skins.
ReplyDeleteSnake as a pet - Worked at a nature center that had snakes. Would love to have a Fox Snake. They are sweethearts. Very soothing to handle a tamed snake.
How near the house is a good place for frogs? We've some tree frogs in the oaks.
Did you dissect frogs in school. Not frogs, but crawdads. Took several apart, but nobody every told me what the things did in the environment. Dissection for beginners is off-putting, took me years to get over it and find out I really love science.
Would they turn to princes? They are already princes in their own way. They don't need our crowns or kisses.
