There have been markets on court house square in Alexandria, Virginia since colonial times. At this time of the year, I remind myself, that just a few more weeks, and the first of the local spring produce will start to appear, and I will return to my Saturday morning market routine.
Do you visit a local farmers market?
We have a couple of public markets in town that are open 6 days a week. With different stalls for produce, meat, fish, olive oils, and more. A pleasure.

ReplyDeleteNo farmers markets in London Town. We have Borough Market or if I am feeling brave I’ll venture to Peckham.

JP it would be hard to beat the Borough Market, I could live next to that for the rest of my life.
