Ready for my close-up

A production company was filing scenes for a movie (they were using film cameras, so it was almost certainly a movie not television) at the hotel in San Juan one evening while we were there. Watching movie making is fun, I think the last time we had a chance was when the modern classic "Earnest Saves Christmas" was being filmed (DG can identify many of the locations in Orlando and tell you where he was standing when about 5 of them were filmed.) This time around we could see little of what was going on, they were filming on a deck and in a suite on the second level overlooking the bar. The bar is the birthplace of the Pina Colada, I wonder if pineapples played any role?

    When I was in college, this sleazy TV show was filmed on my college campus . . . it was geared towards the teen/early 20's crowd and it was AWFUL. Anyway, the filming drove me NUTS because it seemed to always take place outside of my picturesque window on teh quad. And they'd have to play whatever background music the actors were supposed to be "rocking out" to . . . OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Usually really early in the morning.
