  1. The gaps in the palm trees offends my eye. Driveways or something, I suppose. Tram tracks pleases my eye, as does the scorpion sculpture.

  2. That's a super mural - the Mexican man with the blue bird. Thanks for giving us a whistle stop picture of Phoenix. I didn't see any signs of phoenixes in your gallery - did you spot any there?

  3. Ooooo, what's with the creepy dolls and their table full of pennies? Delightfully weird!

  5. I see you went into the basement of Hanny's. You are a brave soul. Did you check out the elevator shaft too? I just had dinner there last Saturday before the Symphony. Great set of photos.

  6. Always nice to start a set of photos with a good bourbon drink...cheers! I'll bet Sharon saw a lot of familiar spots and maybe some new sights, too.

  7. Great photos. Wonderful murals. I’ve never spent any time in downtown Phoenix. The downstairs of Spo’s favorite restaurant is completely creepy.

  8. Thanks for a wonderful set of photos. I lived in Phoenix for 15 years back in the 70's and 80's and tried it again for 10 months in 2013 but found it too hot and expensive. It was good to see the sights though a few I'd never seen before. Glad you enjoyed your visit.
