Delete1. Yes, a number of times in a 747. They always seemed old and shabby. I've flown with plenty of queens in the sky too, if that counts.
ReplyDelete2. Yes, briefly to land on a glacier in New Zealand. I won't do it again. I wouldn't feel safe in a small plane.
3. I know what a piston engine but I don't really know what a turbo-prop is. Thinking, it must mean it propels like a large plane.

5. I've dreamt I was a gliding bird but even a bird is not lighter than air. I'm impressed with your bravery at flying in a Zeppelin. I've seen what happens to them.
Zeppelin no longer uses hydrogen - that helps.

A turbo prop is a turbine or jet engine, driving a propellor. Most single engine aircraft use a piston engine, most of them resembling the engine out of an OLD VW Beetle, horizontally opposed, air cooled, four or six cylinder. At a glance, the cowling is shaped differently.
