My Music Monday - It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Okay, I admit it, I like upbeat music, something bright, and sweet, and sappy. And this is a glorious time of the year for it, some might say the most wonderful time of the year.
oh lord love us I am healing from a sort of PTSD about cheery Christmas tunes. Not too long ago these types of tunes blared in the hallways at work. this song was played several times a day as I escorted patients to and from the office in which they disclosed depression, loss, and thoughts of loneliness and suicide. Then when the session ends I put them out into the hall hearing this tune. Oh the pain. I am slowly trying to reclaim these jolly tunes for what they are supposed to be.
