The Way We Were Wednesday Lysle
I have one, and only one 1st Cousin, Lysle. I took both of these pictures, about 40 years apart. He grew up. He still has food in his hand, but no bottle hanging from his lips. He is a gentle giant of a man with a an appetite for fun and adventure, fast cars and even faster motorcycles.
I love these pictures. So glad he didn’t reproduce the childhood one. That would have been creepy. I have 21 first cousins. I like 3.
ReplyDeleteOnly one, he showed up for Thanksgiving about five years ago with two quarts of moonshine, the cinnamon one was very tasty. He also has a small cannon.

DeleteForty years makes a lot of difference! I have 36 first cousins, I believe. I wouldn't know most of them if I walked past them on the street. We're not a "close" extended family, LOL!
ReplyDelete36! My mother was an only child, my father has one sister, who had one child. The family tree gets thin in a hurry.
