I will take the easy way out this week, I saw this one Facebook the other day.
I come up with $60 for my life of misadventures.
1, as a young adult a very-very long time ago - I kind of liked it
4, there is this wonderful beach in Florida
7, at least once intentionally - we won't count the unintentional times
8, I have bent a hood and a couple of fenders - nothing totaled
16, I think I have paid three of them in my life, the last one was for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a cross walk - I missed her by inches - but paid the ticket just the same - that was close to 20 years ago.
$50, I'm so dull...
ReplyDelete#1 - once, didn't like it, went back to booze
ReplyDelete#7 - HELL YEAH! (who hasn't?)
#15 - a package of cheese
#16 - once (in herndon va)
so $40; I am more dull than sweet bear! :)
Gotten drunk? I drink a sip or two but have never been drunk. BURP!
Deleteyeah right! tell us another story!
Delete$60, not too bad.
ReplyDeleteI'm stunned. I only got up to $50 for my misadventures. I expected so much more of myself. (1, 2, 4, 7, 16)
ReplyDeleteI can barely speak with shock and the shame of knowing you. I may take you off the Christmas card list.
ReplyDeleteThanks I needed the laugh, how many has Bert done, I could ask Duncan . . .
DeleteI answer yes to:
ReplyDelete1- in my 20s almost daily, in my 30s weekly, in my forties rarely, today never
4- any chance I get
5- once in P-town
6- in 9th grade with Danny Henley
7- let's just say these days I go to meetings
8- it's been years since I did but more than once
9- in my youth I was not one who took well to being pissed off
10- we were bored teens (I had to google this one)
11- in 9th grade, fist fight
14- I've even done this as an adult, remember don't piss me off...
15- in my youth I used to steal beer and real estate signs, today I'm sober and sell real estate
16- speeding, running stop signs, running lights ....yep I've had a few
So I tally $140 and you may want to check my math. Sadly it looks like I'm off of most Christmas card lists now.
You are still on, all the more interesting - P-town could be an interesting story.
DeleteYEE HAW! you win the crown, fearsome!
DeleteWhy yes the P-town story is quite interesting. Put it this way if I had been in any other town I may have been answering yes to the $50 question. Spending the night in jail with a screaming drag queen was interesting and thank god Massachusetts has liberal judges.
Delete$80 here. Yes to 1,3,4,7,8,9,and 16. *leaves the site with embarrassment *
DeleteOr I could just sit next to Fearsome.
Deleteyou would LOVE fearsome, mistress; he is a splendid individual!
DeleteMistress, I'd be honored to make you look good. Come on over, have a seat, let's see what pops up.
DeleteFearsome, if I had a dollar everytime I heard that, id be rich!
Delete80$ which gave me a mixed feeling of being virtuous and having missed out.
