The Castle St Angelo will be the subject of future posts. It is an ancient castle, a fort. It has served as a refuge for Popes fleeing invaders. Parts of it area old, very old. The floor above has been trod on for a long time, a very very long time. And I complained that the carpet in my office hadn't been replaced since 1990.

ReplyDeleteWow! We just replaced OUR very old floor... from 1973. This one in Rome, however, is much nicer.
