Back in 1972 I went to an office supply store and bought my first calculator. It was a Texas Instrument solar model. It did four functions-add, subtract, multiply and divide. Not even percentages, and it cost over seventy dollars!! I used it to add my grades in my grade book at report card time. Of course, I had to then do the averages on my own. Now even basic calculators are under ten dollars and almost seem like a scientific machine compare to the originals.BethB from Indianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15294626495777153996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16253353.post-70675337872424948782020-08-29T11:15:59.431-04:002020-08-29T11:15:59.431-04:00I remember typing on a manual typewriter I remember typing on a manual typewriter Travelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07787024407420088973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16253353.post-25912621949843231562020-08-29T11:00:48.369-04:002020-08-29T11:00:48.369-04:00I'll try this again:
In a manner of speaking ....I'll try this again:
In a manner of speaking ... yes you do! You currently are using a "keyboard" to type out what you say in here ... you type ... you write ... LOL Nowadays, you just don't have to roll a sheet of paper into the machine ... now you just send the words to the printer where the paper is loaded!
Marcia LaRuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13907511382483491066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16253353.post-41428092549268063412020-08-29T10:57:44.998-04:002020-08-29T10:57:44.998-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Marcia LaRuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13907511382483491066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16253353.post-28894737063593678442020-08-29T10:11:41.429-04:002020-08-29T10:11:41.429-04:00We no longer have a typewriter We no longer have a typewriter Travelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07787024407420088973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16253353.post-83423318588435247632020-08-29T09:49:46.174-04:002020-08-29T09:49:46.174-04:00Amazing that's still being used.
