We will be here at least another 8 years until we are both retired. Then...???
Have you ever done a major remodel?
Yes. Our kitchen several years ago (which we barely survived); Our basement this year. (Much better experience.); Some outside tweaks (back porch, front porch, and fence.) We are done.
Have you ever built a new nest?
Nope. And never will. Out of our income level, unfortunately, but would love to.
If you could have any view in the world, what would you look out on?
Secluded woods (I cherish privacy and hate being surrounded by neighbors) or Cape Cod Bay (of course.)
Is your current nest, too large, too small, or just right?
For overall space, we have plenty of room for two people and two dogs and I like the number of rooms but I’d like the space designed differently. I’d never purchase a cape again...eaved ceilings rob you of too much space in a room and the upstairs is a bitch to cool and heat. But 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths (yup) and now a finished basement makes the house seem bigger inside than outside. I’d never go bigger, but could go smaller (and likely will.)

Sassybear
Www.Idleeyesandadormy.Com Breenlanternhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17317914861018120156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16253353.post-20039178337120663022021-01-03T07:42:45.203-05:002021-01-03T07:42:45.203-05:00We don't have a guest room, could use a librar...We don't have a guest room, could use a library/home-office.
