I know I am weird on this one, but I enjoy airports. Seeing the planes, reading where the planes are arriving from, and headed off to, fascinates me. If all goes to plan today we will be in, CGD, BOS, DCA. If you can read that, you are well traveled.
I am on a digital detox. This post was written ahead of time and scheduled to appear today. I have not missed posting at least once per day in over a decade. While on this detox, I will not have internet access many days, when I do have access it will be limited. Please continue to leave comments, but I may not reply to comments. I will read comments when I can. Normal service will resume in late May.

I knew CGD. BOS was easy to guess, and I guessed by DC in DCA.

DeleteThat’s a lot of bouncing around today. Hope all goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteBoarding in Paris at the moment
DeleteFunny you should mentioned IATA codes. I was a quiz master a few weeks back and one of my rounds was on IATA Codes for capital cities. I thought most of the questions were relatively easy LHR, CDG, PRG, AUH, etc but they were deemed to be difficult. I did have the two Tokyo airports.
DeleteMCO, stumps many, McCoy Orlando, it was a WW II air force base.
DeleteAre you sure you like airports??? That selfie says otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI myself hate airports and planes...anxiety, waiting, will I get lost in the airport, will the plane crash, collide, have mechanic problems, is the pilot sober, have a crazy person on board trying to open the door mid air, hit geese and blow an engine, Will the plane run into a huge storm, will we get out of the Bermuda Triangle, will there be any hot stewards, will they have enough gin on board...to many worries......
Resting bitch face strikes again. Once I am checked in and through security, it is out of my hands. We are at 38000 feet, 950 miles northwest of Paris. Global WiFi
ReplyDeleteI only know YEG off the top of my head.
ReplyDeleteI will need to look that one up
DeleteI love people watching in airports ... all kinds of folks are let loose in there!
ReplyDeleteSome of them unsupervised
DeleteMy sister flew back from Rochester, MN on Sunday. 1 gate and 8 people on her flight! Much easier than the flight from O'Hare to Rochester! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is rare, but it happens.
