3: Do you have any from childhood? No longer.
4: When was the last time you gave one as a gift? Probably the Highland Cow to my great-nephew.

How many stuffed animals do you have? Currently three
ReplyDeleteDo you give them names? Snoppy and Woodstock and an Elephant I picked up in Nairobi.
Do you have any from childhood? I don't think so.
When was the last time you gave one as a gift? About three ago to my friend when she had her first baby.
Do you have a favorite stuffed animal? Does the Lad count!?!?!?!
Is the Lad soft and cuddly?
DeleteI was worried about this post until I realised you didn't mean real stuffed animals but fluffy toys!
ReplyDelete1: How many stuffed animals do you have?
Currently only one. I gave most of them away a few years ago and I don't miss them. Unless the rag doll that my mum gave me for my 40th birthday counts.
2: Do you give them names?
Ted and Doll.
3: Do you have any from childhood?
No but Ted is actually my OH's old teddy bear from when he was a little boy. We both keep him safe. (From cat and dog.)
4: When was the last time you gave one as a gift?
Does the collection of dog and cat toys count? In which case, last Christmas.
5: Do you have a favorite stuffed animal?
Doll. I miss my mum every day and it reminds me of when she was still with us.

1. I have 4 small stuffed creatures and 1 larger one -- a maneki-neko cat from Japan, a small knitted cat from a blogging buddy ("Knitty Kitty"), a kawaii mushroom from my sister that says "I don't give a shittake," a Florida Panthers voodoo doll from a blogging buddy, and a larger old teddy bear ("Teddy") from my childhood.
ReplyDelete2. I rarely name such things any more, although I did with my childhood toys.
3. I only have one from childhood, the aforementioned "Teddy." It is in a storage box. It survived so many decades as a keepsake simply because it didn't get played with too much when I was small. The stuffed animals that were played with all went to rags years ago.
4. The last time I gave one as a gift was to my sister maybe 5 years ago. It was a cute pug dog wearing a hoodie. I couldn't resist it. My sister probably wishes I had.
5. My favourite is probably "Teddy" simply for old time's sake.
