One Small Step - The Sunday Five

It is very simple, you pay your $23, take an elevator to the 103rd floor, and step out through the side of the Willis Tower, into a glass box sticking out on the side of the building.  It was interesting watching people's reactions.

So this weeks Sunday Five Questions?

1: Would you step out into the glass box on the 103rd floor?
2: Would you bungee jump?
3: Would you ride in an open cockpit aircraft?
4: Would you step on stage and speak to an audience of 1,500?
5: Have you ever parachute jumped?

My Answers!
1: Would you step out into the glass box on the 103rd floor?
Evidence above, it was very easy for me to do.
2: Would you bungee jump?
      No, never have, never would.
3: Would you ride in an open cockpit aircraft?
If you count the time the door fell open when taking off in a J-3       Cub, I already have.  And yes I would.
4: Would you step on stage and speak to an audience of 1,500?
Been there done that, piece of cake.
5: Have you ever parachute jumped?
       No, and never will.

Your answers?

  4. 1: Would you step out into the glass box on the 103rd floor? I think I would ... I think I would ... I think I would.

2: Would you bungee jump? I actually have done this eons ago; scared the ***** out of me beforehand but loved it when it was happening and after!

3: Would you ride in an open cockpit aircraft? Like a cropduster? an old bi-plane? Yeah, then I would.

4: Would you step on stage and speak to an audience of 1,500? I don't know about that one ... depends on why. For me speaking in front of crowds, I'd have to be in control of the entire situation and if I wasn't--like I was mde to be there--then the panic would set it.

5: Have you ever parachute jumped? I've done a tandem one in Hawaii but never solo ... I don't trust myself with a ripcord. i'd probably pull it INSIDE the plane!

  5. 1. Stood in that exact spot. Loved it
    2. Pass. I don't trust a rubber band that much
    3. Not an issue. I could and would.
    4. I suppose but it would need to be something I was passionate about.
    5. No. I don't think so. My trust in the people that pack those parachutes is tenuous at best.
